Ahoy there Mateys! My name is David McClellan Sr., I am originally from Missouri and came down to Key West in 1980 by the way of the US Navy. I have worked in Children’s ministry for over 20 years where I have performed as characters, puppets, drawings, and magic tricks.
My character at The Key West Shipwreck Treasures Museum is Captain Joe, an old salt working in the waters around Key West in 1856. I enjoy telling stories of the many shipwrecks along the keys and entertaining children with a trick or two!
